ANZAC Day Commemorations

To assist with ANZAC Day planning, we have a range of audio and visual assets that can be scheduled ahead of time via the Manage My Nightlife app (available on a smartphone, Nightlife Tablet or PC).

Our ANZAC Day content has seasonal availability. Looking to use this outside of April? Let us know! We’ll make sure it’s available at a designated venue.

How To Schedule The Last Post + The Ode

  1. Open Manage My Nightlife
  2. In the Menu, select the Search Songs page
  3. Search for “The Last Post” or “ANZAC Day” NOTE: If searching by list, all versions of The Last Post bugle call are stored under the ‘Specialty’ heading
  4. Click or tap to view the details of the track to be scheduled
    • If using a phone or Nightlife Tablet: Tap the blue down arrow to the right of the track title
    • If using a PC: Click on the track title to open a pop up window
  5. In the track details, click or tap the clock icon to open the scheduling window
  6. In the scheduling window, set the track to play on the 25th of April at the preferred time
  7. Select the option to interrupt the playing song at the date and time specified
  8. Click or tap Schedule

To check or delete a scheduled track: Look for a clock icon on the Current Playlist page. Tapping on the clock will show all scheduled tracks and relevant details. To delete, tap the circle to the right of the track to select it and then tap the trash icon.

If having trouble finding the track: Use the Genre tab in Search Songs, then scroll down to the Occasions genre. Expand this section to find our range of specialty songs.

Turn Off Regularly Scheduled Music

The Nightlife Scheduler is programmed to change music throughout the day to suit the atmosphere and demographic of venues. For important, commemorative events like ANZAC Day, businesses can temporarily disable the Scheduler to prevent improper content playing.

How to disable regularly scheduled music in the Manage My Nightlife web app

  1. Open Manage My Nightlife
  2. In the Menu, select the Current Playlist page
  3. In the top right of the page, click the Settings/Volume button
  4. Expand the Mode Control drop-down
  5. Click the Scheduler slider to switch it to OFF

How to disable regularly scheduled music in the Manage My Nightlife app

  1. Open Manage My Nightlife
  2. From the Menu, select the Controls page
  3. Expand the Mode Control drop-down
  4. Tap the Scheduler slider to switch it to OFF

If the option for switching off the Scheduler has been disabled, please let us know and we will enable it.

How To Queue The ANZAC Day Music List

Nightlife has curated a playlist to play before and after The Last Post + The Ode. This is a tight, 10 song list of ANZAC day themed music which will keep the mood appropriate for the occasion.

  1. Open Manage My Nightlife
  2. In the Menu, select the Queue Lists page
  3. Select the All Lists tab
  4. Expand the Nightlife Lists heading
  5. Scroll to the Specialty category NOTE: If the ANZAC Day list is not in this category, please contact us so we can ensure the content has been made available.
  6. Click or tap the circle next to the ANZAC Day list for queuing NOTE: If selecting more than one list, a mix of songs will play from each.
  7. Click or tap the green Queue Lists button
  8. Click or tap the appropriate queue method (i.e Shuffle or Timed Shuffle) If selecting Timed Shuffle: Use the slider to nominate the length of time the shuffled list(s) should play for, then click or tap the green Queue List button

How To Queue Local Artists For ANZAC Day

Nightlife has a range of lists with music from Australian and New Zealand artists that can be used in venues looking to support local for ANZAC Day, including AUSSIE, KIWI CUTZ and more.

  1. Open Manage My Nightlife 
  2. In the Menu, select the Queue Lists page 
  3. Select the All Lists tab 
  4. Expand the Nightlife Lists heading 
  5. Click or tap the circle next to one or more lists to select them for queuing NOTE: Selecting more than one list will play a mix of songs from each 
  6. Click or tap the green Queue Lists button 
  7. Click or tap the appropriate queue method (i.e. Shuffle or Timed Shuffle) If selecting Timed Shuffle: Use the slider to nominate the length of time to override the Scheduler for, then click or tap the green Queue List button. 

After the lists are queued, the app will navigate to the Current Playlist page and display the updated playlist. 

Promote Upcoming Events And Display Important Messaging

Use the Manage My Nightlife Web App to display digital advertising slides and promote upcoming events, communicate important messages or share special offers and updates.

How to upload and display custom digital signage

  1. Open the Manage My Nightlife Web App
  2. In the Menu, select the Advertising page
  3. Select the User Advertising tab
  4. Click the Upload button
  5. Click the green Browse button and select the custom file to upload
  6. Select the screen to display the slide on, how long it should display on screens for, and the time period it should be integrated into the digital display (i.e. for April 25th)
  7. Click the Upload button

How to display slides from Nightlife’s Advertising Library 

  1. Open the Manage My Nightlife Web App
  2. In the Menu, select the Advertising page
  3. Select the User Advertising tab
  4. Click on the Library button
  5. Click on any slide in the library to see a preview of it
  6. When a slide is selected, click the Next button
  7. Select the screen to display the slide on, how long it should display on screens for, and the time period it should be integrated into the digital display (i.e. for April 25th)
  8. Click the Create button
