The crowdDJ® Kiosk not connecting

If your Kiosk isn’t connecting correctly to your Media Player, your customers will be missing out on the fun of picking their music.

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Confirm your Nightlife Media Player is switched on and you can hear music in your venue.  If not, turn it on and wait until the second song before moving to the next step
  2. If you’ve established that your Media Player is switched on, try restarting the Kiosk using the onscreen prompt
  3. If the restart is unsuccessful, or the Kiosk does not display the onscreen prompt, check that your Nightlife Media Player has an active internet connection. The quickest way is to see if you can access it via Manage My Nightlife. If the Media Player is not online, try restarting the music system
  4. If your system has an active internet connection and your Kiosk still can’t connect, check your Kiosk’s network connections or contact us over live chat or by phone.

If you can’t quickly resolve the issue with these steps, your customers can always download and use the crowdDJ phone app to pick their songs while the issue is being resolved.
