Scheduling Music Lists with Nightlife

With Nightlife, we work with you to build your unique 7-day music schedule. When you need to change the music for a specific date and time, such as a function, public holiday or special event, the One-Off Scheduler lets you schedule that change in advance.

There are several ways you can manage your music lists and change up the sound with Manage My Nightlife. Click here to view the full scheduling ecosystem—including how to schedule a song in advance.

In this article, we’ll be showing you how to use the One-Off Scheduler to schedule music lists.

One-off Scheduling

Use the One-off Scheduler to queue lists for special events, such as a group fitness class, Valentine’s Day brunch or private function. You can play them immediately or schedule them for a future date and time.

This is helpful if you want to plan ahead or won’t be at the venue when you want the music to start.

How do I find and use the One-off Scheduler

  • In the Manage My Nightlife Menu, navigate to Queue Lists
  • Expand the desired list category option (Nightlife Lists, Downloaded Spotify Lists etc)
  • Select whichever list(s) you want to schedule, then click Queue Lists
  • Select Schedule Session and edit the duration of the session
  • Select the date and time you want the session to play
  • When ready, click Schedule Lists

Viewing Currently Scheduled Sessions

To see any sessions that are currently scheduled:

  • In the Manage My Nightlife Menu, navigate to Scheduler
  • In the top right, select the blue One-Off Scheduler button

Any sessions currently scheduled will be shown here.

  • You can Delete or Edit sessions by clicking the trash or pen icons.

That’s it — once scheduled, your session will automatically play at the chosen date and time, so you can focus on your event while the music takes care of itself.
