Scheduling Songs with Nightlife

Plan ahead for special moments by scheduling a song to play at a specific time in advance with the One-off Scheduler — available via Manage My Nightlife on iOS, Android or Web.

In this article, we’ll be showing you how to use the One-Off Scheduler to schedule individual songs.

The One-off Scheduler

The One-off Scheduler enables venues to schedule a song in advance for specific moments in upcoming occasions, like New Year’s Eve countdowns, or to signify certain events like the start of a raffle.

Via the Search Songs page in the menu, Manage My Nightlife users can find their chosen track, open the Song Info Pop-Up and select the clock icon to nominate the date and time for the song to play.

A maximum of FIVE songs can be scheduled at any one time.

To view and manage a venue’s scheduled songs, users can open the One-off Scheduler Pop-Up in Manage My Nightlife. How to access this varies, depending on the platform being used:

• For Web app users — The One-off Scheduler Pop-Up can be opened via its dedicated button in the top right of the Scheduler page.
• For iOS and Android users — The One-off Scheduler Pop-Up can be opened via the clock icon in the bottom right of the Queue/Schedule Lists page.

When to use the One-off Scheduler

As a maximum of FIVE tracks can be set in advance via the One-off Scheduler, it should be used to schedule songs for upcoming moments in the short term, like:

• Special Celebrations — i.e. a chorus of Happy Birthday or a New Year’s Eve Countdown
• Private Functions — i.e. the start of a wedding reception or to introduce a conference speaker
• Venue Events — i.e. to signal when it’s almost time to close or for performances/presentations

How to schedule songs with the One-off Scheduler

1. Open Manage My Nightlife
2. In the Menu, select the Search Songs page
3. Ensure the TITLE/ARTIST tab is selected
4. Enter the name of the track into the Search Song Title/Artist search bar
5. From the search results, open the Song Info Pop-Up for the track
   • If using Web: Click the title of track
   • If using iOS or Android: Tap the blue circle with an arrow at the end of the track name
6. Click or tap the clock icon to open the Scheduled Play pop-up
7. Enter the date and time that the song should play
8. Choose how the song should play at the scheduled time (Immediately or In Sequence)
9. Click or tap the green Schedule button

How to review and manage scheduled songs

Manage My Nightlife users can review and update scheduled songs via the One-off Scheduler Pop-Up. This means they can:

• Update the Date, Time or Duration of a scheduled session or
• Delete a session from the schedule.
